Christmas and New Years

Christmas morning Paul and I woke up and opened our christmas from our tree and stockings. Then we went over to my parents for traditional christmas breakfast where my mom makes pancakes and eggs and bacon. Then we opened family presents at their house and spent the rest of the day hanging out and having fun. New years eve wasn't that big of a deal. We stopped by my best friend Jen Garretts house for a open house and then we went over to my parents and played games and drank some Martinelli's Sparkling Apple Cider to ring in the new year.

My stash picture of what I recieved for christmas minus a dress and my ornament.
On Christmas Eve after reading the christmas story from the bible. Paul and I introduced a new tradition to our family of crackers. They are english things you pop open and get prizes in. They have toys and crowns and fun stuff inside. Most people use them on New Years Eve to ring in the new year. We changed it just a tad bit since my nieces and nephew are way to young to stay up late to do those things yet.

Baby Girl Box

Joanna or baby jojo as I call her has discovered also that she likes my sciatic nerve she thinks its a nice little trampoline to play with and on. I don't like it so much. I have had an realtively easy pregnancy so its nice. Also I really enjoy feeling her kicking and punching me. I waiting for the day when Paul gets to feel it he is kinda of jealous he hasn't felt her yet.

This is our sweet precious girls little foot it my belly pushing on it. She is saying look at my foot. Also we have discovered she is really active alot. She really likes music and will just move around and around when she hears it. We went to my mother's sweet adeline's christmas show last saturday afternoon when her quartet got up and were singing my daughter just started to move like crazy. We like saying she recognizes her grandmothers singing voice already and loves it.

We found out on December 10 that we are expecting a little girl into our family. We are so excited. Here is a picture of her looking more human than 2 months ago. We have pretty much decided on a name its going to be Joanna Katharine. We are registering at Walmart, Target, and Burlington Coat Factory Baby Depot.

Baby Box

We had an amazing summer. I worked for a month of summer to pay off a car that was sold because it was wrecked. I am really struggling with job at this point. I am not liking the mean catty women I work with. One is so opinionated it drives me so crazy. Marriage life is wonderful we really love each other so much but there are the ups and downs to it all. September was a hard month for both paul and I. Paul had to work lots he was working overtime everyday almost worked a few of the saturdays. He got notice at work that there was a project his company was taking over and they had two weeks to get it done which normally something like that takes 2 months. With him working alot we had some strain but we got through it. Also the best part of september is on August 30th we found out Im pregnant. Due date is around may 6th. Both Paul and I are so excited. I think paul can hardly believe it. When I told him he didn't believe me at first but then I showed him the home pregnancy test proof. HE then got way excited. He will be a great dad. He is so sweet to me and spoils me to no end. I love him more than anything and we are starting our family. Anyway during our crazy month of september I got to have the first ultrasound done on the baby. I am about 9 weeks along in my pregnancy. Paul unfortunately because of his work he had to miss the ultrasound so he missed hearing the heartbeat which is so amazing. I started to tear up when i heard it. Anyway for those of you interested here is the picture of the ultrasound.

Ultrasound 1 of baby box

I am quitting my job in december because Im tired of all the crap. I hate not being valued anymore. Hope you all enjoy. For the next few months it will be a slow blog but once this bundle of joy comes there will be lots of posts all the time. I love you all my family and close friends.

This is a dock right across the street from our hotel at sunset. We saw lots of boats come in there.
We stayed three or four blocks from Seaport Village which is a fun shopping place and good restaurants.

After settling in our room we went and did some sight seeing sunday afternoon and evening. Which was our first day there.

Our hotel was so wonderful. It sat right on the bay it was so cool in the mornings and evenings I needed to wear a sweatshirt.

For our honeymoon we decided to go to San Diego because we had plans to go to Phoenix for my cousin's wedding the weekend after ours. So we started making plans and decided to stay on the bay at place called Holiday Inn on the Bay. Here's me fresh off the plane in San Diego.
